My Fitbit Sense keeps dropping bluetooth connect and wont reconnect to sync.
then, as per advise from support in community posts, I go to re-setup my,sense, the serve is always down for maintenance and seems for long periods of time!
Why cant it sync from the watch directly to your phone without having to sync through the server?
The Fitbit Sense sucks and is not ready for prime time!!!
I want a refund but imbought this in July from Kohls and been playing this re-setup constantly and not worth the hassel!
I do not have anything good tomsay about the Fitbit Sense!

Hi @SunsetRunner if you want a refund, you go to the place where you purchased it. If you had gotten this from Fitbit directly, you would have 45 days in which to get a refund. Pretty sure Kohl's is 2 weeks for returns. Since it's past the return window, you'll want to work with customer support to take care of your issues. What phone and operating system do you have? As for the syncing, your phone acts as the bridge to get the data from your Sense to the Fitbit servers where it is safely stored. The data can be viewed on the phone via the app, but the data isn't stored on the phone.

@SunsetRunner - it would seem there are some problems with your phone setup that need fixing because as @Odyssey13 says if the Fitbit app can't upload the data to the servers you are going to have problems.
Things to check is that battery saving is turned off for both Bluetooth and the Fitbit App, and that you don't use any PRVATE DNS, VPN or security or ad blocking software on the phone that stops a good internet connection, before contacting support.
