I bought a sense I think in early February of 2021 (going by when I got a email to reset my fitbit password) and wore it for a couple of months. Last month I starting getting back on the diet and exercise route to try and lose weight. Yesterday (which was maybe 2-4 days after my warranty was up) my screen was going crazy as you can see from these two videos I recorded https://streamable.com/8fu3hp https://streamable.com/0gzafx . Talking with support I factory reset the device and set it up again and updated the device. It still is unusable and it is like it is getting phantom inputs constantly. I can't swipe to other screens most of the time and it is constantly changing it's own settings going to other screens and randomly tapping on menu items.
So I got about 2.5 months of use out of this thing before it becomes unusable. I wore it in the shower a few times, but I made sure never to have any water spraying directly on the watch to prevent any water damage. Now I have a broken device. The most they would do was give me a discount coupon to order a new device even though yes...I am technically out of warranty, but by just a couple of days...come on.
I went to best buy yesterday and picked up a Galaxy Watch 5. Samsung has a $70 trade in for fitbits...worth it to me with how fitbit and their product works.
