My fitbit not pairing giving message that this requires an app

This morning my fitbit wouldn't sync so I trouble shoot and still no better so I unpair from my phone now I can't re pair it as when my fitbitsense is on my bluetooth list when i click it tells me that i need an app and now I've switched my fitbit off and back on and i can't pair it to my phone i have tried everything so far still stumped any help greatly appreciated

@Mateser @Lynn72182 I've had the same issue and I had to reset my device so I can sync again. You have to go to your sense's settings, scroll down to About sense, and then factory reset. You will lose any data not synced with your phone, but at least it will be working again. Good luck!

If you would like help getting the phone app to talk with your tracker. Please include the phone model. 

Or try these tips 

 

Now if you unpaid the tracker from the phone, you should not be able to repair. 

No if you removed the tracker from your Fitbit account, you have simple dug a deeper hole to climb out off. 

 

Everything needs to be done through the Fitbit app. The user can not pair the tracker directly to the phones Bluetooth.

The guy on live chat helped me change the settings on the fitbit app and on my phone. He was very helpful
