New sense charge issue

I joined the health team at work, only fitbit waa compatible with the tracking software. So i splurged (big for this sinfle momma) on a fitbit sense for myself foe Christmas.  It's January 20th and this watch is ridiculously under performing. I jabe jas $20 smart fitness watches battery last for 7 days while doing all the tracking you buy the smart watch to do. 

Why cant this over $100 watch not handle using the features it asvertises and stay charges for more than 8 hours? I cant even get through work and go to the gym without it dieing before my workout is over. 

I feel totally scammed.

@Akmondragon , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and feedback. I get where the confusion/ frustration might come from. 

Please keep in mind, that the battery life of any electronic device might vary , depending on the usage, and features in use. (eg, the charge in a Phone might be reduces if the screen is too bright, or if it reproducing videos constantly. 

The Sense battery should last more than 6 days if some features are not in use.  Always-on display and GPS use more battery and might require more frequent charging. 
When using always on display  the sense battery could last only 2 days. And with the constant use of GPS the battery could last up to 12 hours.
