I enabled Device Lock on my Sense, however this feature rarely works properly. It has only ever prompted me for the passcode while I am wearing my Sense, often several times in an hour, but I can put it on the charger for half an hour, come back and resume using it without being prompted for a code. So I wanted to disable it again.
There is no way to disable Device Lock. The software simply doesn’t allow it. I just worked through this with a chat agent and they don’t believe it is possible. Device Lock on Sense seems to be permanent.
So, uh, bear that in mind.

I had a brain wave earlier and realised that setting it to “Fitbit Pay only” with all the cards removed is basically equivalent. There is still a PIN but it doesn’t do anything. Still weird not to have an option for “off”.
