My sense is not tracking all my steps. It keeps freezing and staying on the same number of steps here and there. I reset it a few times but it keeps happening and it making me lose my challenges

Hi, @SunsetRunner, welcome to the community, provided you are wearing your "Sense" as advised in the manual and it is set up and charged it should record your steps effectively. There are some issues with step counts, this third part article explains.
