Odd behavior-when asked to do daily challenge with someone.

I get emails from my fitbit friends to join a challenge. I click on the email and I get an error that 'it's a different path'. I go to the app and the challenge is not there. Sometime, rebooting the phone helps and sometimes, it does not make a difference..

Hi @lablover55  you can't join a challenge by clicking on an email. You have to go to the app to accept or decline an invite.  I just went to my email and clicked to accept a challenge and got an error 404, which is the same thing you got. I've seen on the forums where if the person who started the challenge decides to remove their account, the challenge vanishes. Is that possible? Does this happen to you a lot? Your phone compatible? If it's not, you might have some glitches.

I know that! lol. Yes, my phone is compatible. I accept challenges alot. It is mostly the 'daily' ones that have some kind of bug that needs to be worked out.

@lablover55 it sure would be frustrating, but I've only had it happen once myself with an Android phone. The ones that really bug me are when the one who does the inviting originally will start off by inviting thirty or more people and then the next few to accept will then invite more. By the time I try to join, it's all full. I've asked a Fitbit Moderator to stop by to see if they are aware of anything going on. Does this happen to others when you're doing the inviting?

The other behavior, is when you get the email, you go to the app to join, but it is greyed out. I have to then reboot the phone, go to the app and then I am able to join. I have never done the inviting. lol

I'm using Android 9 and the minimum to use it with functions all working is system 8. There were times when my app wasn't updated that I had trouble with things greyed out and couldn't work them. Maybe it's just a glitch and I sure hope so. Meanwhile, see if you're able to do inviting. For a time I could do a rematch, but not the actual start of a challenge.
