Physical Imperfection - White Sense

Hi,

We bought two Sense. One black, one white.

The black Sense is smooth all around to the touch, as expected.

The white Sense however seems to have a bottom chassis that extends out further than the stainless steel bezel around the screen. This creates a scratchy lip around all edges of the device. 

Is this a known issue with white variants, or some devices? With such an obvious external flaw, we have additional concerns about internal component quality control.
