Trying to pair a sense with a Google pixel 5. It was paired with my previous device and would not sync with my 5. I tried factory reset and removing from the fitbit app and my phone cannot find it when trying to set the sense up now.
Once the tracker is setup to change phones.
You are now setup.
You never want to remove the tracker from your Fitbit account or app. This is because the user does not pair a Fitbit tracker to the phone. Through the Fitbit app the user sets up the tracker to their Fitbit account.
Since a factory reset was performed, you are starting from scratch, let's open the app and setup the tracker.
If your having issues.
Best AnswerInterestingly enough I rebooted the watch, my pixel auto discovered it and was able to find and set it up. Had some firmware upgrade challenges if I let the phone sleep but instead I kept the phone awake the second time and it completed. All set and working now thanks for your help!
Best AnswerIf your Fitbit app is open and in front, yes the app will stop when the phone's screen turns off.
If the update fails when the app is moved to the background. The app is not able to run in the background.
Best AnswerHi Rich! I am having this same problem, have tried every solution suggested, and my phone just will NOT see my tracker. I have the new Google Pixel 5, Versa 2, old phone has been factory reset, phone restarted, watch restarted, app cleared cache, force stopped, logged out, uninstalled, reinstalled. I'm at wits end. Any other suggestions? Thank you. jill
Best AnswerSame issue here with with the Pixel 5 and Sense. Bluetooth keeps losing connection. Pixel 4XL had no issues. I'm thinking a firmware update from either Google or Fitbit will fix. Unfortunately, Fitbit doesn't usually send out firmware updates for a fix for a specific device. We'll see.
