Playing music on my Sense

I finally have time to sit and figure out why my playlists did not transfer from my Versa 2 to my new Sence device. The first thing I did was visit the Fitbit Community to see what was possibly new in the music app and to my surprise the feature to play my own music no longer exist as it did. What developer in their right mind thought not allowing me to play the 200+ songs that I have paid for and now sit on my Versa 2 is an improvement? This is my fifth Fitbit device, I started with the Alta HR, Charge 4, Versa, Versa 2 and now Sense. Yes, I have been with you for a long time and have loved them all. There is nothing wrong with my Versa 2 I was just ready for an upgrade or so I thought.

With all that being said I have no intention of going back to my Versa 2. If Fitbit is not going to restore the music feature I will factory reset my Sense an return it, then look for a competitor product that will give me what I need.

Hello @Bjsain ,

the user suggestion to be able to upload own music files into Sense/Versa 3 was created on August 30th, 2020, got 1,518 votes and it has been locked and labeled not planned on April 23rd, 2021 by @YojanaFitbit .

I think there is nothing else to add.

Hi @Bjsain  - While the removal of features from the flagship model is not really acceptable to customers there is an alternative that works quite well if your phone is nearby, and that is the Music controls that comes on the watch.

What Music controls enables you to do is play any music that is on your phone [apps or files] which may have a much greater capacity and larger battery and play back features. you can change tracks, stop/play, and change volume from the watch. It may be worth having a look before returning the watch. Also you can use Google Assistant to control music.

The only time this won't work is when you don't have the phone with you or near you but then you won't be getting notifications either.

Going back to playing music on my phone is not acceptable. I want the convenience especially when hiking of having music on my wrist.
