Sense disappointment

Since I have had my sense it’s been difficult. The battery level reduces quickly and doesn’t relate to the level shown on the app. It says it’s updated but won’t update to the latest version, yes I have gone to the App Store and followed the steps. The zone readiness score was at first suggesting targets of around 164 minutes a day . Since I queried this with Fitbit I don’t get a score at all. I feel really let down by the help and support team as they haven’t resolved any of these issues

Battery life, for any device, is dependant on your settings and usage. 6+ is definitely an optimal, not the average. With these settings I can get a solid, whole 4 days:

Brightness dim, screen wake motion and button, always on display off, snore & noise detection off, SpO2 on.

What settings do you have?

Double check your active zone minutes recommendation because 164 minutes per day sounds way off. Now if it's per week, that sounds right.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I agree the zone minutes recommendation was way off as it was definitely daily. When I queried it the first support help person said that it was average! I then said well could you show me the data on which the recommendation was based. No response.
Thanks

@Qazplm You can always manually change your activity zone minutes to whatever you want.

@Qazplm And I'm pretty sure by default it does 150 minutes per week and 22 minutes per day.

I know during the initial setup it asks if you want to adjust it and it's possible there could've been a random typo.

Thank you. Now I don’t have any readiness score at all! I haven’t had any useful help from help and support . I haven’t been able to get the latest update, they say it’s being rolled out so no idea when that will happen

@Qazplm Updates aren't very often. Here's my current firmware.

I haven't had any issues with readiness. It always there in the morning for me.

Are you just missing a day or two or they all disappeared?

Hi I haven't had a readiness score since they replaced my sense. I had said
re the old one that it was setting me daily targets in excess of 150
minutes. They told me to send it in. Since I have had the new one well over
the four days stated I haven't had a score at all. I know there is an update
available as they told me the number for it and my current update is the one
below. I do not think they know how to sort these problems out.

How long have you had your replacement?

This might be related to getting a new device but it takes 4 days of at least 14 hours of use for the readiness score to be given. I remember this when I first set mine up.

I purchased the device for these extra applications. It is frustrating that the depletion rate the battery is "blamed" on the use of the applications that the product was marketed for toward consumers. Seems like this should have been identified and corrected  during "testing and quality".  The lower battery cause issues with being to use the Fitbit as desired.  The model was advertised with a longer battery life and access to the applications. As a consumer, I feel like the product was misrepresented and really disappointed in the product.

Welcome to the Fitbit community.

Advertised battery life on all devices have some kind of fine print to them.

"Varies with use and other factors..."

That's nothing new or unique to Fitbit. As I said in my first reply on this post, I can get a solid 4 days with the only thing off being the Snore and Noise detection. That's more battery life than the majority of smartwatches out.

Totally agree, the Sense was marketed for these benefits then once you have it you are told that you should have all of them turned off to get the battery life estimated! Also premium is a swizz , I have been trying to get the readiness score and zone minutes sorted out for weeks now. The help team have not helped at all.
