Is there a difference between the $64.99 Squaretrade protection plan sold directly through Fitbit with the purchase of the Sense and the smart watch plan ($300-$399) sold directly by Squaretrade for $54.99?

I noticed that HSN also has cheaper plans for the watch with a 3 and 4 year plan.. very interesting

I ended up pre-ordering from Amazon. Same hardware price and $34.99 for 3 year warranty including accidental.

I was headed to amazon but the warranty is assuran that's the same one that phone companies offer and it usually comes with a deductible. I did not see anywhere about a deductible but I really don't like dealing with that company. I wonder why Fitbit is not offering warranty extensions, they are now using square.. 

when I purchased my Ionic i got the extended warranty with Fitbit and they were awesome.

While it is Asurion, it has no deductible. It says:

• No deductibles or added costs. Parts, labor and shipping included.
• Drops, spills and cracked screens covered from day one. Other breakdowns covered after the manufacturer's warranty expires.
• Includes 24/7 tech support - setup, connectivity issues, troubleshooting and much more.
• File a claim online or by phone 24/7. If we can't repair it, we'll replace it or reimburse the purchase price with an Amazon e-gift card.
• Plans are only valid for new or certified refurbished products purchased in the last 30 days with no pre-existing damage. Protection plan documents will be delivered via email within 24 hours of purchase.
