On Amazon there are a few cases for the Versa 3 and Fitbit Sense. They don't seem to be official cases from the company itself. Has anyone had experience with having such a case ? Is it worth it ?

I use a screen bumper for my Versa 2 and will order one for my new watch. They are easy to install and really protect your watch from scratches. The TPU material makes the touchscreen easy to navigate. My Versa 2 doesn't have a scratch on it thanks to my screen protector. I'm tough on watches so your mileage may vary.

Hi all,

I was curious as to how effectively these bumper cases worked, so I had ordered one for my Charge 2 and then proceeded to use a file to scratch up the tracker (in the bumper case) as much as I could to the point where it was even tough to read.  The tracker didn't have a single scratch on it.

Naturally, the band is not protected, but the band can be easily replaced.

Here are the pictures.

I don't typically put a bumper case on my tracker, but I also don't work in an environment where I'd be likely to scratch the the tracker.  My current wrist tracker (Versa 2) has held up admirably.

I hope this helps.

@PureEvil  Thanks for that super reply! I bought a bumper for the FitBit Sense because I tend to hit walls with my hand as I twist and turn while sleeping and when walking as well. My hand is a wall-magnet.

I have a question. If you put one of these cases on your Sense do you still have touch screen functionality?

I have no issues using the touch screen with a bumper case on. But you do have to remove it to use the ECG and EDA scan. They're very easy to remove and put back on, so they're definitely worth it in my opinion.
