I'm curious if there is a Fitbit alternative I should look into, as my Fitbit is reaching its twilight years and may need to be replaced.

I'm curious if I should buy a new Sense or if there is another Fitbit alternative that would be an upgrade.

@chastan - it also depends on what you use your smart watch for and how you use it.

In order to not be disappointed be aware that the later models have a different user interface and not all of the same functionality as the Sense.

For instance they don't have any additional apps and the choice of clock faces is different and not as vast, and if you live in the EEA it is restricted to the basic Fitbit clocks only.

Google has stated it will remove Google Assistant from the Sense but later models don't have it already.

Many of the stats underlying details are not available for display on later watches, and some not in the Fitbit App either.

Google has even removed some features from Fitbits since they took over.

The point is it pays to check out the finer details and compare with other brands, which have features not available on a Fitbit or in the app, before making any longer term investment.
