Red tint on dark colors

Anyone else noticing a red tint to all colors as they get darker? Especially noticeable on the circular background gradients used throughout the UI and on the sp02 face. I even tried an all gray clock and it was red around the edge as it faded out 😞

His @jinks - I’ve not noticed it on the Sense or any of the other Fitbit devices I’ve owned in the past.

Are you still getting this @jinks ? I picked up a sense today and I see it quite strongly. Hard to take a picture but hopefully this shows what I mean - it goes blue to red to black on the gradient and has the red fade everywhere there is a gradient

wondering if this goes with use of the screen or whether it’s going to get worse... has anyone else got this?

Yeah the problem persisted so I returned it and got another in the end. The new one has black crush so it fades to black too soon, but at least it isn't tinted red - and when set to max brightness the gradients are decent. It does have a slight red tint all over when at lower brightness though, but just another reason to run it at max brightness where it's fine. I have a review on AmazonUK with photos showing the red tint:

There's nothing to do but return it and play the screen lottery, it's a hardware issue sadly. Hope your next one is better!
