I understand the establishment of the skin temperature baseline. But I have not found the relevance of this metric. For example what does a rising baseline reading or a falling one mean over time? How does it relate to other metrics such as average resting heartbeat. for example your heartbeat is going lover over time but your baseline temperature readings are on the rise. What’s the correlation or relevance?

Sounds like Fitbit doesn't know what it is for and tries to find out by collecting and analyzing data 😉
