I previously had a Samsung S2. Ran with it a lot. Had way more running data than Fitbit. Where is track of my speed throughout the run? Where is my cadence? On a treadmill I get distance, average speed, and they sure make a big deal about average heart rate and calories. Not much there a serious runner would want. Also the distance seems off by a fair amount. Haven't ran with it outside yet because it's really cold out here. Does distance calibrate with your stride length with an outdoor run? If not it should. Also make more running apps with more data available for users.

@Zerex Fitbit isn't a runner's watch. I agree that metrics provided by the Run activity are too basic (and too big). The whole exercise tracking needs major update and it hasn't got one in years. That could be to the fact that sports tracking isn't a priority but overall health and fitness are and these are major areas of focus for developers. If you need more metrics or additional running related features you won't find them on Fitbit platform.
