Well, , once again, as usual every three months, Sense drops out of functionality, , have had to delete app from Iphone, all my date collected is GONE, there is no way to retain - recover or to save them ANYWHERE, , I needed this device to track my life, as I have a condition that is, well, , essentially, the neurons in my brain are dying and it has dramatically affected my life, , and now, all the history I have generated is gone, , my neurologist is pissed as I am, ,and i have been trying to restart the device for 3 weeks to no avail, , for $450 CAD, , it is a unreliable system, , utter disappointment.

Hi @drivetray - you only need reinstall the app and the data will be there as it is stored on the Fitbit servers.
Deleting the app might not be the solution to your problem. Perhaps identify on here the exact symptoms and someone may have a better solution for you in future.

@drivetray I see the account that you are posting from was created in 2021. If you go to www.fitbit.com you should see your history.
If you don't see your history in the fitbit app, please log out, then log into the correct account. None of your data is ever stored on the phone, it is all stored in the cloud.
You say your sense dropped out of functionality but no mention of what functions. In the past 9 years, only once did I resort to removing the fitbit app from the phone, and this was after a fitbit app update
