yesterday my Sense registered my BPM in peak zone when I wasn't even wearing it. Anything I can do to rectify this? Makes me wonder if other things are incorrect

Welcome to the club, @Ali14548 .

Inaccurate Sense heart rates and unreal peaks are all too common, unfortunately. If you browse this Community forum you will find several threads and plenty of posts about that, while you are wearing your Sense.

About Sense continuing registering heart rates while you are not wearing it, it happened to me at least once, also with a very high peak while I was sleeping and not wearing it. I suspect that can happen when we leave Sense on a table with its back sensors close to some object and the back lights and sensors just don't switch off, keeping on all the time. They should turn off automatically a few seconds or minutes after you take it off.

Hope this answers your question.

@Ali14548 I've done tests on this with fitbit sense, the real reason is when there's something close to the watch sensors. Do a test and see, if you leave it with the sensors resting on the nightstand or drawer, it will continue to set BPM, now if you leave it with the sensors up where nothing is nearby they have disabled and will no longer set BPM. Take the test and report it to us

@SunsetRunner See in the photo:
In image "1" we see the bracelet a little away, but the fitbit sensor captures it anyway and keeps marking BPM as if it were attached to the wrist. On image "3" you can see what I just reported about image "1".
In the image "2" you can see that there is nothing close to the sense, with that it turns off the sensors and doesn't mark the "Ghost BPM" anymore. See image "4" for an example of what I report in image "2".
That's it, unfortunately I've been seeing several bugs and an example of this is when you take your watch off your arm and when you put it back on it doesn't ask for the access pin.
Maybe fitbit will listen to us someday and fix such bugs.fitbit relatos.png

Thanks @IgorR11 ,

Your tests confirm what I thought.

Now it's just a question of remembering to check the Sense position when we take it off and leave it somewhere and see if its back lights and HR turn off after a little while.

Good job!

Thanks Igor. I've been trying to leave the sense upright and it seems to be a lot better.
