Over the last several years I have noticed that when November rolls around the battery drain increases exponentially and then after the holiday season it reverts back to normal. Or this is how my convenient conspiracy thought occurs.
Is there a way to pause or roll back updates to the app and watch?

Hi there @DuffyPDX! A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Did your Sense's battery have a short life? I recommend always to follow the tips from this article --> Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
It is recommended to update the app and watch whenever there's an available update because normally that's how the bugs are resolved or if any new feature comes it can be then added.

Hi there @ferran.p! A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thank you so much for reporting this situation.
Is it possible that you're using the Built-in GPS or Always on Display? These settings lead to battery short life.
If yes, please try to do the following:

Thanks for your reply, but no. I don't have neither GPS always connected nor diaplay always on

Hi @ferran.p!
Thank you so much for your answer and for your efforts.
Since you have tried the steps and your Fitbit Sense still doesn't work, I need more information from you, which is best shared privately. I am sharing a link to a form for you to fill out here.
This form is for you only, so let me know when you have completed it.

My device battery drains within hours after a full charge. About an hour or so after actually. Why would that happen???

Hi there @cgmcdaniel!
A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thank you so much for reporting that you're having the same situation too. Have you already followed all the steps from this post?
This is not an expected behavior of the Charge 5, is it possible that you use Always on Display or the GPS regularly?
