Update 6/14/2021:
This update should now be available to all customers! If you have any difficulty updating, make sure you are following the directions in this article, and then provide as many specific details as possible in your post so that we can assist.
We’re excited to announce that a firmware update for Sense will be available soon! Some of you may already have this update available - if you installed it, let us know what you think!
If you don’t see the update yet, that’s expected. Check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We expect everyone to receive the update in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
Did you know that we gradually release our updates? We do this to make sure everything is working just right for you. Sometimes we find an issue and it might take a little longer than expected for everyone to get the update. While you might see suggestions on how to “force” an update, we ask that you don’t try any of these workarounds. Most of the time the update won’t be available and you can lose data or encounter other difficulties. The best way to get the update is to be patient and wait for the update banner to appear in the Fitbit app.

I can't even keep track of the threads of the faults and glitches I belong to. That's not convincing me that Fitbit is taking anything seriously.
Just now today:
You're saying the team is taking my comments seriously? Just how seriously?
I'm checking in on Consumer rights where I live and I know I have grounds for a refund irrespective of your warranty statement.

Hi @LizzyFitbit I've restarted the watch and not real sure why my stride length needs changing it was fine before the update. I've had the watch a total of 3 weeks now and since the update everything is messed up. It won't stay connected to my phone, the hourly steps ring is already filled in for the day and it's only 1PM on the east coast. And as I mentioned the counting of stairs is just not working when it was working before the update. Here are the pics associated with the quick switch for the watch faces.

I did receive the update and it now speaks to me but the cost is it functions poorly. Blue tooth stops working 50 percent of the time and 8t says something has gone wrong a majority of the time
I bought watches for me and my teens all have the same issue
When they work it is great but the inconsistent functionality makes this poor quality and not a great buy

Since this last firmware update, the number of floors "climbed" each day has increased to ridiculous numbers. Often it shows something like 20 floors after I wake up in the morning, when in fact I haven't climbed a single floor since midnight. Or 60 floors at the end of the day, when I climbed maybe just 1 or 2 if I sum up all the little stair steps along the day.

@LizzyFitbit should we cancel our premium subscription or will we be compensated for the Health Metric being broken? Since 6/25 my BR, HRV and RHR have flatlined.
I'm surprised you haven't pulled this firmware release due these issues.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your continued reports about the Sense firmware update.
@Darwin53 Thanks for your feedback about this situation. Let me explain that the troubleshooting tips were suggested since your post didn't include that information. However, I understand where you're coming from and I'm sorry if this caused any inconvenience. Because your Sense is still not syncing correctly, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Support team so they can evaluate your options. Please click here to get connected with them, and make sure to share all the steps you've tried so far.
@SunsetRunner, @LostScientist42, @Cryptofarmer and @primortal Thanks for the details. I understand your point of view about not getting your Health Metrics data tracked correctly and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. This has been reported to our team and they're currently working to get this fixed. Check this thread where you can share your feedback about this situation and receive further updates.
@Newtripley and @TimJames You're welcome! I'm glad the suggested steps worked for you and thanks for keeping me posted.
@Asyd Thanks for trying the suggestions posted above and for the screenshots provided. I'm sorry you're going through this situation and as last resort, please try pairing your Sense to your Fitbit account so we can refresh its connection and features. To do this, forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings, restart your watch one more time, open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device > Sense > Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions. This should help to get the hourly activity filled correctly, the steps accuracy and to see the pictures when switching clock faces. Let me know how everything goes.
@nathanrsw I'm sorry you've gone through this experience after updating your Sense and thanks for the steps tried prior to posting. To investigate this on my end, may I know your phone's model and OS version? In case you've tried the troubleshooting tips described in this help article, please try reconnecting your watch to the Fitbit app. To do this, remove your Sense from the Bluetooth settings, force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device > Sense > Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.
See you around.

@LizzyFitbit nope, none of it worked, still the same result. I know you're the messenger, but as I indicated this device is a new 3 week old purchase. It worked perfectly until this latest update. Are these firmware updates beta tested? Are users testing before release? Very very disappointed that this firmware has basically bricked my new device.

I tried all of the suggestions you posted, and it still doesn't work. I got the notifications to come back by totally uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it took less than a day for them to stop working again.
I find it remarkable that you still haven't rolled back these updates if so many people are having issues.
I guess it is time to start looking at other devices.

Your Opinions should they roll it back? or move on with it? have you read the Firmware page and seen the 13 pages of info? what your thoughts?

My Fitbit Sense still reports a ridiculous number of floors, even after this update. Very annoying. Yesterday I had 72 floors! (I climbed only 4).
Also, when I reply with voice, I must choose every single time the language (other than English), because Sense can't remember the last choice.
These problems are reported from some time and Fitbit still ignore them.
Like I sad, it's ridiculous for a flagship watch like Fitbit Sense.

Hi everyone. Thanks again for participating in this thread.
@Asyd and @generic809 Thanks for your efforts while trying the suggestions posted above. I understand where you're coming from about your Sense not working well after updating the firmware and I'm sorry you've gone through this experience. While it's not possible to roll back a previous version, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Support team so they can look into this and provide you with further assistance. Please click here to get connected with them and make sure to share all the steps you've tried so far.
@AlphaState I appreciate your feedback and I'm sorry for any inconvenience experienced with your Sense. As mentioned before, our team is aware of the Sense not recording floors accurately and they've been working on this matter. Currently I don't have more updates; however, I've passed every comment shared in this thread related to this issue so our team can be informed of the impact to you and other users. Please know your feedback hasn't gone unnoticed.
About the quick replies, does that happen with all the apps that have this function enabled? If it's with one, may I know the name of that specific app? Also, what is the model of your phone? Because your post didn't mention, please remove the Sense from the Bluetooth settings, force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, restart your Sense, open the Fitbit app, sync and set up quick replies one more time.
See you around.

So that folks don't get confused.. I am asking what you think should be done with the firmware after you choose to educate yourselves with the info everyone has given about it, on the firmware page. Should it be rolled back? or kept on being pushed? what your opinions? Have you have issue with your device afterwards.? Are you keeping your device afterwords? . Are you disappointed? what your thoughts?

Dear Lizzy, it wasn't about Quick Replies, it's about Google Assistant Replies. I get a Whatsapp message, I tap the Microphone, I chose Language (other than English) and I sent the message. The problem is that the next time I must choose my language again because Sense doesn't remember my last language choice and select always English language!
Because I'm not an English person I must choose again and again, at every message, my native language because Sense is programmed to have always English selected. This is so annoying that I gave up to use this feature.
