Sense Heart Rate Error

Hi

I have tried the Twitter support but am getting nowhere...

Basically, I’ve had a sense for 3 weeks after 3yrs of wearing a Blaze. My Blaze used to report 170+ when I was HIIT training. Sense barely reaches 120bpm same exercise?

Today I did my HIIT workout wearing my Sense and also chest strap HR monitor.
The chest strap HR recorded similar to my Blaze (170bpm), however my Sense is way off too low?

Also, my sense shows HR even when placed on any inanimate surface, (eg on table for 15 mins) is this correct or is it a faulty sensor?

Is there is any support it would be appreciated...

At the same time, Chest Strap HR Recording confirms Sense inaccuracy?;

Hello @Craigside ,

I'm having the same issue and many users and reliable reviewers are in the same boat.

I don't think support can be of any help and I hope fitbit is working hard for a possible firmware update to solve the problem.

Hi

Trouble is I suspect this could be a hardware issue with the new sensor, I’ve seen same issue in the Versa3 forum. Also, understandably it’s maybe only users who are keen to have a meaningful HR report who will closely analyse their own data and notice the issue?

When I receive my new Sense in a few days I’ll know pretty quickly if it’s got the same issue, however I’ll be surprised if it’s ok to be honest but I do want to try.

I think if it was firmware they would have acknowledged the issue and done something about it by now.

If it’s hardware we just have to wait until a new model comes out and see what the reviews are?
