Recently the heart rate zones on my exercise route map suddenly stopped showing with the following message “not enough heart rate data”. Yet heart rate is being recorded and I can see it on the heart rate graph in the app. The same thing happened on my Charge 4 after a couple of months. Now the Sense. The same problem seems to affect a lot of people with no resolution that I can find. Both phone and app have latest software. I’m so over these fitbits. Time to move onto something that works.

@Nevets62 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and information.
It seems that you were recording your activities with MobileRun. (feature in the Fitbit App).
This feature uses the data recorded by your phone to record your walks, hikes, or runs, when you don't carry your Fitbit (e. left charging, forgot to wear it, etc).
As the data is recorded by your phone no heart rate data can be recorded.
There was a bug on the app, that overtook the hear rate data, of your Fitbit in the same time frame and placed it on the activity you recorded with the phone.
This bug has been solved. So that all the records made with MobileRun will not show any heart rate, only the data taken by the phone.

Thanks for the reply, but you assumed I am not wearing my fit bit, on a run, I am. I had to read your reply twice to ensure I wasn’t dreaming. You actually state it is a bug that heart rate data is overlaid on an exercise map. That is some bug. Sounds more like a feature users want. Why else would you have a warning message stating not enough heart rate data is available when it doesn’t work. The real bug is that it doesn’t overlay heart rate data like it should. Granted maybe Fitbit tried to implement the feature but couldn’t get it to work accurately or reliably so decided to switch it off. But they need to come clean on it. So many users with the same issue going back years. Is it a Google ownership thing pushing users to Pixel? I don’t know. This is certainly a case study in how to lose customers.

@Nevets62 , Thank you for your reply and feedback.
The symptoms that you described, are shown when you wore the Sense while using MobileRun in the App to record the map.
As mentioned before, this feature is thought to be used in case in case you don't use the Fitbit or carried it while running, hiking or walking.
And the data recorded is from the cell phone.
The bug that was active, was that the heart rate registered by the watch. was placed on the record with the data of your phone.
As this was corrected, only the information gotten by your mobile device, will be shown, and separated from the one taken by your Sense.
If you wish a feature, that uses you phone and your sense to record an activity I invite you to make a feature suggestion.
The best place to make your voice heard is the Feature Suggestion board on our community (community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/idb-p/features).
If a similar suggestion has already been made by another member of the community, you can vote for their suggestion and add your comments.
Thanks for your feedback and for participating in our community!
