Sense Notification Down Swipe not working and fast battery drain

I have a couple issues that stared a couple days ago, which is annoying since I am on vacation. I am using the Android Fitbit app and have updated to the current version which hasn't fixed any of the problems. My settings and daily usage have not changed.

First issue, I can no longer swipe down to view notifications. Right, left and down swipes are working. I can only view them as the pop up on the initial notification.

Second issue is the battery is draining much quicker than it was a couple days ago. I was able to go 4-6 days between charges. Now I'm lucky if it lasts a.full day.

I've read several posts and watched YouTube videos in an effort to find a way to resolve the issues. But after several resets, restarts, repairings, and clock face changes the issue remains. My mother's Sense which is older than mine is not having these issues.

Hi @Johnny92 - the combination of symptoms points to a hardware failure, possibly due to the watch getting wet.

A rogue notification can also possibly cause an issue and the only way to see, if you have successfully synced the watch and removed all notifications from the phone already and then restarted the watch is to perform a factory reset.

It can be risky and time consuming to set everything up again as it was, so note the names of your clocks and apps first, in some cases it may fail and the watch can be unusable.

Letting it run down and dry internally for a few days may help if it is not too damaged.

I must have cleared the bad notification since the down swipe is now working. The battery on the other hand is just getting worst. The unit is fairly old, so I'm guessing the battery is worn out. It's probably best to start looking for a replacement
