Sense Notification Issue

Hello! I have found since the most recent update to my app (at the end of July), I have not been recieiving any text, call, nor app notifications on my Sense watch. I tried numerous troubleshooting techniques from different articles for an Android and I still am not recieicing any sort of notification. Even the test notification does not come through. I was unsure if this is a universal issue that is happening as I have only seen one other incident, listed on an app store review, mentioning it. Any assistance would be awesome, thank you!

If your device is within Fitbits specifications and you can still get the app from the play store, and you were effected by that last app update. This has been reported all over, removal of app from Android device, removal of Bluetooth Sense and Sense Controls, and re-setup app, seems to work for some...

 

Others have done factory reset on device to no result, they have paired unpaired, they have preyed. Insane the amount of threads on these forums people have tried so many things.

 

Some even decided to use a previous version of the app and things work... So no one size fits all fix, but I would start with the app on Android and leave the Sense as is, as the upgrade of the app is what broke notifications. 

Fitbit Ionic 72.1.15 (recalled), Fitbit Sense 128.6.17 and Pixel Watch 2 BP1A.250305.019.W3, March 2025.

Same here. I have factory reset the Sense. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still no text or email notifications.

same issue. i do get phone call notifications but all others have stopped. i have tried unpairing and repairing with bluetooth to no avail. restarting the watch itself has no effect, nor does rebooting the phone (Samsung Note 20 Ultra). seems to coincide with the app update though i cant for sure say when i did that

I just got off a long phone call with Fitbit about the same problem.  Went thru numerous steps--- still doesn't work.  I depend on this notification --- more than any other reason to wear the thing! LOL
