Do the little red and green sensor LEDs on the Sense's back flash constantly when the watch is on your wrist? I can see them at times in the middle of the night thru my skin. Looks like this would really consume a lot of battery.

Yes the green lights are always flashing. This is how the watch reads the heart rate. 

As for the red and infrared lights, yes they will flash while sleeping. This is how the SpO2 is measured. 

Yes they do use battery, but so does the display.
