After installing the battery fix firmware last week, my watch has now performed a forced factory reset on itself (no warning given).
I went through the trouble of setting up the watch again, only to have it download the 44.128.6.17 firmware again. The app now warns me that the devices needs to download the battery fix firmware again, but also appears to have performed another factory reset on itself.
Anyone else seeing this same behavior? Looks like the right firmware isn't being hosted on their servers.

Hi @Glorf !
Thank you for your message and for the additional information.
As I can see, the problem may be due to the version of the Fitbit app, since we are currently under the version 4.36. Android Fitbit app 4.36 is now available - 02/12/2025.
This version requires, at least, Android 10 or higher.
I suggest you try to update your phone's operating system to meet these requirements, or try updating the firmware using a phone (or tablet) that has the latest version of the Fitbit App.

Hi @Glorf ! Welcome to the Community !
I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear your Sense in forcing a factory reset on itself.
Could you please confirm if your Fitbit app is updated ? How do I update the Fitbit app?
About your device's update, please verify the steps shown here : Why can't I update my Fitbit device?

Hi @MarioSFitbit ,
The Fitbit app version on my phone is: Version 4.14.fitbit-mobile-110045073 - 617559692
There are no updates available through the Android play store.
I went through the phone pairing and update process again and had the same result. The watch was able to update over wifi, but post-update goes back to factory reset. The Fitbit app states that the firmware version of my newly paired Sense is 44.128.6.17 after going through the update process.

What fixed it for me was updating with a device that has Android 10 or
later. It was able to update to the .21 firmware and appears to be working.
Seems like the working firmware is only available through the updated Fitbit app running on Android 10 or greater. Surprised that the update process doesn't just grab the latest firmware for the device from their servers. Symbolic links?
