Sense Screen Protectors

If anyone is struggling to decide on a screen protector for their sense , I purchased one from a company called media devil .. it’s a pack of 4 and they are made of silicone rather than the cheaper ones on Amazon which are a film .. I genuinely can’t even see it on the watch.

When applied there were some bubbles but they disappeared after 48 hours .. here’s the link .

Have fun everyone

Hi, @Danonsense, welcome, I've had my "Sense" for 18 months, swim daily, garden & engage in the usual activities. I do not see the need for a screen protector on the laser-bonded Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3.

Cheers

Thanks for the recommendation!  It looks like a great solution that allows use of the EDA and ECG.

I ended up going with the full case/band option with Spigen, as I was more concerned about the corners of the glass breaking. The watch glass except for the corners is exposed. I do not use EDA or ECG.

I'm genuinely happy you don't believe you need a screen protector after 18 months of use.

Unfortunately you are in the minority. Gorilla glass still suffers from micro scratches - reflect direct full sun off your screen into your eyes and you will most likely see numerous micro scratches. More important than this is that a tempered glass protector gives a little extra "blunt force" protection to the screen. Numerous owners have reported cracked screens from a fairly innocuous contact with a hard surface. A tempered glass protector gives some extra protection here. For just a few dollars it's recommended. I wouldn't recommend film or silicone protectors as they don't offer much real protection, but may help a little against scratching from an accidental graze against a hard surface.

I never use any Fitbit product without a tempered glass protector whether it be a Blaze, Versa, Ionic or Sense. I have also always fitted a glass protector to all my mobile phones out of the box - even waiting several days for a protector and case to arrive before using a new phone. Never cracked a phone screen yet. My wife has a propensity to crack most tempered glass protectors on her mobile phones. So far she has never cracked the screen. That's good protection!
