Hi there. It doesn’t really make much sense to have built-in GPS but not be able to listen to Spotify without my phone. If you can store music with other apps, you should be able to do this with Spotify too.
Additionally, as it currently works, even when you have your phone and are playing Spotify, you can’t “control” the music without stopping an exercise session. This renders this feature utterly useless.
Please fix these features. It’s 2020 and this isn’t really acceptable. I’ve been loyal to Fitbit for over 5 years, but it’s this kind of stuff that makes me close to moving to an Apple Watch.

Agree! Fitbit is first and foremost a fitness tracker. Not being able to use the exercise and Spotify apps at the same time while exercising is incredibly short sighted. Fitbit is going to lose a lot of loyal customers if they don't fix this and all the other problems users are identifying. Seems the Sense was rushed to market in a half-baked form. Disappointing.

This is the main reason I chose to go with Sense. I'm really frustrated that the exercise function and Spotify access cannot be run at the same time. Really basic need for an exercise tracker.

100% agreed. It’s unacceptable to have a 300$+ watch missing so many key features. So obvious this was rushed to make it in time before the holiday season... a total disappointment...

@Fitbit When will this functionality be added? This is a fundamental function for any "smart" fitness tracker and is incredibly shortsighted that this is not built in to your supposedly flagship product.

Or, maybe a decision will be made or has been made to incorporate music storage on the next flagship fitbit tracker to generate more revenue for the corporation...enticing current and/or new customers to purchase the next flagship fitbit...just a guess.

Sorry I wasn't referring to music storage. Just the ability to control music (FF/rewind etc) without needing to stop your exercise session. That's a pretty basic function.
