Hi All,
My fitbit Sense is continually restarting. I called support but other than holding the button depressed for 8 seconds they had nothing for me to try. It's just under 2 years old and dead. This is after I dealt with the pin issue on the charger that resulted in the need for a new one to be sent. I really love the user interface and battery life that the fitbit provided versus other options. I am however done with them! The support contact said I'd get an email with an offer for a discount to buy another watch. I still haven't received the email. I've had numerous fitbit devices but it is time to move on. I'll research Garmin etc. I really wish I hadn't given my Apple watch away at this point. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this company!
Thanks,
Tim

Hello @Raz10
I understand your frustration. I truly do as I would be as well being a long Fitbit user myself. I did read that your Fitbit Sense is on a restart loop. I’d like to offer some tips that might help. If your not interested I would completely understand. So I’ll just leave them here and let you decide.
The reasons your Fitbit Sense restarting may be due to an incomplete download of something like Music or an incomplete firmware update.Since these types of large downloads require a lot of power, try plugging your Fitbit into its charger and wait for a few minutes to see if there is a download waiting. Make sure your Fitbit is in range of your Wi-Fi network, then check your Fitbit to see if it shows the download’s progress. If so, keep your Fitbit on its charger and wait for the downloads to complete.
If the problem persist you can try changing the clock face through the Fitbit App: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2311.htm Try changing it to the original clock face or another clock face preferably made by Fitbit.
If this all fails you can try to hard reset your Fitbit Sense as a last resort to try to bring your Sense back to life then set it back up as a new device through the Fitbit app. The only data you will lose is from the last successful sync. The rest is all keep on the Fitbit Servers.
To do a hard reset (do this without being plugged into the charger):
Press and hold down the side button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off. After the screen turns off, you feel a short vibration. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait until the watch vibrates, then the Fitbit logo appears and disappears. When it disappears, lift your finger off the button again for a moment and press it down once more until you feel one final vibration, then release–this indicates your Fitbit is performing a factory reset.
After its completed open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Set Up A Device. Pick Sense from the list and follow the onscreen instructions. When it ask if you are replacing your device say yes.
I hope this gets you up and running again, but if you choose to not try any of the steps provided here I understand

😉 I understand…just thought I’d give it a try. I hope you find another fitness tracker that you really enjoy regardless of the brand. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
