Sense Watch Won't Sync

Your help please. I have tried to sync my Sense to my HP laptop. Downloaded the app, synced the Sense etc. All goes well except at the end the Sense continues to say 'Download the App'. I have turned Bluetooth on/off, deleted and started over again already but the same problem persists. Any ideas? Many

You need a smartphone, either iPhone of Android.

@doylga Thank you very much for the detailed information and I appreciate your help in following some troubleshooting steps. Adding to the post above, newer devices like the  Ace 3, Ace 2, Charge 3, Charge 4, Inspire 2, Sense, Versa 2, and Versa 3 aren't supported on Windows and require a compatible Android phone, iPhone, or iPad.
