Hi, my Sense has suddenly decided not to hold its charge
Fully charged Sunday night before going to sleep, it's now Tuesday morning and I've 22% battery remaining - only done about 5k steps since last charge
I've not tracked any exercise, taken calls or anything
It used to hold the charge for 5-6 days and had only started to do this in the last week
Any ideas - I've not changed any settings for SPO2 or anything

If it drains alot over night. Try turning of the noise/snore detection.

My Charge 5 started doing the same thing. There are lots of PPL with charge 5 having this issue if you look in the charge 5 forum.

Pretty sure its a software update. I have had the Charge 5 about 2 years and this is the third time a software update has broken it. Usually a new software update comes out a few days after it broke and it "heals" itself. My first fitbit, never had an issue with software updates for some reason. If its any consolation I checked through other forums and the fast drain battery seems to be across multiple product lines. Im out of warranty so Im just waiting to see how long it takes for them to fix it.

Thanks for getting back to us @CeriH13. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense battery is draining quickly.
Please check help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
Also make sure that you use a UL-certified wall charger or that you charge your watch on your computer.
Thank you for your comments @Surf_Doggie. You can check this thread in order to check Charge 5 battery drain.

Hello @AndreaFitbit . - thanks for responding.
I have had my Sense for just over 1 year, this issue has been happening for about 1 or 2 weeks. I have not changed any settings in that time so the articles on extending the battery life are not relevant.
I only use the charger that came with the device and always plug into a wall socket or occasionally via my computer.
The Sense often shows a slow charging message - but has done since I first had it - but I always leave it charging until it shows 99 or 100%
What do you suggest now?

Thanks for getting back to us @CeriH13 and @Cjh85, thank you for your advise.
@CeriH13, I would suggest checking your charging cable. The pins sometimes sag and you need to correct this in order to charge properly.

I’m in the same boat as you. My Sense has always lasted 5-6 days but in the last week and a half, I’m lucky to make it 3 days. I have checked all my settings and nothing is different. I’m using the same wall charger I always have. I charged to 100% on Friday and it was dead late Sunday into early Monday. I charged it fully again on Monday and it already has the red low battery sign on Wednesday. This is really annoying. The whole reason I went with the Sense over an Apple Watch was for the battery life. If it is software related, I hope they get it figured out quickly.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Debbiet2, I'm sorry to hear that your Sense battery only lasts 3 days. Thank you for mentioning the steps you have followed.
Please check that you don't have snore detection active since it drains your watch's battery.

Thank you for the suggestion AndreaFitbit. I thought I turned it off on Thursday but it still shows a sleep score on my Friday sleep. I ended up having to charge my fitbit again on Saturday night but now my Saturday doesn't have a sleep score. I'm hopeful this will fix it. I guess this is something that is new or part of the Premium? I will admit, my work gave us all Premium and I did add that about a week or so ago and there was quite a bit of things I said yes to without thinking, but I didn't know what they were to know to look and see if those were causing the battery drain. Thank you for the idea to try!!!

Thanks for getting back to us and for your question @Debbiet2.
With a Premium subscription, turn on the snore and noise detection feature to allow the microphone on your Fitbit to track noise, including snoring from you or someone next to you. By analyzing noise information every few seconds, your device can track the overall noise level of your surroundings and check for snoring throughout the night. When you wake up, your nightly results are summarized in a report. (That's what you found).
I hope that your Sense battery lasts longer with deactivating the snore detection.
