Hello. My fit bit sense button is not working and it is causing the battery to drain very quickly. Any suggestions?

I have the exact same thing. Now all of a suddeb it somehow went in like a factory reset. But the cause for mine doing this is probably the bluetooth which decided to go crazy. But yeah now im trying really hard to charge the **ahem** thing but its only going downwards. I dont think i can even fix this thing from my phone cuz yeah if its bluetooth :”(

Welcome to the community @Gwalt002 @4479fleur.
Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding this difficulty with your Sense. Sorry to know the situation.
I'd suggest you to try to remove the dust or dirt using gently a toothpick or swab around the pimple. If this does not improve the button's operation, you can try cleaning out the debris using compressed air. Hold the watch at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have collected around the button.
Once done, restart your Sense by following these steps: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

They broke almost all Sens watches with a big update a while ago. Since google bought Fitbit, they don't want the old watches to be in circulation any longer. Because those batteries lasted so **ahem** long that the Pixel Watch looked like a child's birthday party in comparison. That's why they broke the batteries and don't release old updates to bring back the old state. My watch lasted 5 days. Not 24 hours after the update. Allegedly they did this because the batteries overheated. I've had my watch for more than 4 years and it didn't even get lukewarm. so don't expect any help here. The problems have been addressed but Fitbit deliberately ignores the customer's problems.

I see a large number of threads that all match my experiences, leaving me with a now-dead sense. Repeated symptoms described across them, and all starting approximately late June.
This does seem to be like a breaking firmware update, but now since my sense can't even start (and the buttons don't do anything) none of the suggested steps in the many recent threads will work.
Is it worth trying to reach out to support?

Yes I have tried those steps without success.
I had let the watch completely drain over two days (just guessing since the display and buttons were not working), and confirmed via the app it was disconnected. Then I was able to connect the charger to try again. I left it overnight and still no display, but the app did sync and showed the battery full. I pressed the button for over ten seconds and felt a slight vibrate to reset the watch. After that the display sometimes shows, sometimes not. Sometimes button has haptic feedback (a tiny vibrate) and sometimes not. The phone seems to be resetting on its own periodically, and the battery barely lasts 12 hours. Just over a week ago it would still be at 60%+ after a full 24-hour day.
I'll try to reach out to support next.
