Have you tried doing a Factory Reset on the watch? If you can scroll on the watch, go to "Settings", "About" (I think), and then "Factory Reset".

I started having the same issue a couple of days ago as ladydiana1978 with the side haptic button not working. I've shut my sense down, cleaned the watch and charger and even did a Factory reset. None of those things have worked for me! All of the other features of the watch are working besides the side button.. This is my THIRD Fitbit device and I'm really frustrated because I love their products and how they've improved my well being, but this is SO frustrating! Please help with some other solution to this issue because I don't want to stop using my Sense watch!

Hi, @ladydiana1978 , @PattoLou - if neither a watch restart or factory reset fix it, unfortunately it is a watch fault.
It can often be the first sign of moisture getting in causing internal damage. If it gets hot while charging stop immediately.
You can still work the watch without the button for the most part, a swipe watch face to the right may work in settings for example.
To turn off the display cover the face, to wake the display double tap it.

Moisture from SWEAT, really?!? I don't use my watch for swimming so I couldn't imagine what would happen then! Really, really disappointing.
