Sense calories burned incorrect

I feel like my calories burned is not tracking correctly.  My activity hasn’t really changed since I switched from my Versa 2 to my Sense but my calories are almost 400 lower than what I was burning.  Is there a way to reset everything?  I’m having a hard time because I go off of my calories burned for weight loss and I can’t eat 500 calories a day.  It’s also not tracking my heart rate properly.  I’ve noticed even when I’m panting it’s telling me I’m below zone sometimes.  Considering sending it back for a Versa 3.

I’m pretty disappointed

I am sorry to hear about the frustration this situation has caused. I recommend restarting your device and confirming that your weight and height are correct in the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I manage my Fitbit profile? You can find more information about how your calories burned are calculated and check our tips to improve accuracy at How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?

I am having the same issues with incorrect caloric burn displayed. It’s so frustrating because this is my first Fitbit and I switched from Apple Watch because I felt it was way too intrusive to my life, but at least it was accurate.

Calories burned are strictly correlated with the heart rate. Many users (including myself) are reporting big issues on HR sensor on Sense/Versa 3 that is likely the source of issue. As @NicoleKristinH reported it seems she is suffering wrong HR reading that confirms my theory.

Same here. I think it’s reading my heart rate wrong.

I think my Sense is reading my HR wrong. I’ll move it further away from my wrist and we’ll see what happens.
thanks!
