Absolutely hacked off with Fitbit.
I have posted repeatedly on this "Slow Charging of my Sense" watch since autumn 2020 when I paid £213 for it but because I purchased it from an Ebay seller my guarantee was not valid, which peeves me off somewhat as Fitbit was quite happy to sell a bunch of these watches to someone knowing full well that that person must then have had intentions to selling them on to other people, i.e. me.
This Sense watch has been updated to the latest software but it continues to take about 8 hours to charge it, & it needs that twice a week.
I am no longer a Fitbit user & I'll never buy another Fitbit product again. I have just paid (& at a fraction of what I paid for the Sense) for & received another smartwatch, it does everything (& more) than the Sense does & it charges in an hour.
The Sense will now live at the back of the drawer along with all the accessories I have purchased for it, eventually they will go to the scrap heap, what a waste of some £300.

Hi @daddybrubeck sorry you weren't able to return the device to eBay. That's been a problem from what I've seen on the forums. As for bulk purchases, it's hard to say where the eBay seller got these devices. Many times my local scratch and dent store has name brand items that they have purchased from stores that went out of business or were damaged when they literally fell off the back of a truck in transit. It's amazing how many people find out there is no warranty with such purchases. Hope you find your new device works well for you.

I did not read all your repeated post you mentioned. So I’ll just ask…..Did you try a new cable? Do you clean the watch back and charging square prior to charging?
I get the same message everyone else does, but usually a wiggle or reseat of the charging square solves it. I expect it each time I charge at this point.
Not a deal breaker for me.

All of what you mention that needs to be done has been done, & done so repeatedly, & all to no avail.
There appears to be some issue with the Sense charging system that causes the problem, my beef is that the boffins at Fitbit, the ones who should be dealing with this issue, have not, to the best of knowledge, come with a cure for the problem, & so all of us who have this issue will, continue to have it & in my case that means charging the phone for up to 8 hours, ,& now that has to happen twice a week.
