Sense counts many additional steps while driving

I drive truck for a living. I notice at work that my FitBit Sense steadily counts steps when I drive (in particular) and sporadically at other times as well. The step counting is a primary function that I wanted when I purchased the device. Looking for an easy, quick and successful fix or will return this and get a device that works.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you're feeling and would like to advise that this usually happens while driving in a car with a very stiff transmission or on bumpy roads. You can remove the steps from your daily total by manually logging the driving activity for the time you were in a vehicle.
