Hi @tessyg - as it is faulty take it back to where you bought it for a refund, if you are in the refund window. This will give you the option to buy something possibly at a cheaper price too.
Consult these forums for guidance.
If you are outside the refund window (45 days if bought direct from Fitbit, or possibly authorised dealers, or some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds) you can get it replaced under warranty.
