Sense does not sync and freezes, Since purchasing the phone
I’ve had mine since October 20 and because of the above issues it stays in the box and I wear my old Fitbit 3.

Thats a shame, by now the battery will be flat, so try recharging [equivalent to a restart] and it may work.
If it still does not work there is surely a simple fix.
You could try "+ Set up a device again"
Don't install any firmware updates though if you can avoid it.

Before considering other options, and as @Guy_ mentioned earlier, please try to complete the restart procedure if the display of your Sense is still frozen.
Regarding the syncing problem you mentioned, could you please check all the requirements and confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems? In addition, make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.
