Sense won't track activities with SmartTrack

I go on a lot of walks. I've had the Sense for two days, now, and it doesn't track the walks automatically. According to the app and any documentation I've found, it should be tracking any walk that lasts longer than 15 minutes, but that is simply not happening.

Add to that the fact that there's a speaker that doesn't do anything, an SpO2 monitor that you can't use without a specific watch face, and a button that is darn-near impossible to press, and I'm wondering why I bought this thing at all.

Hi @attanai, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about the Sense and for checking information about how it tracks your exercises. As you may know the SmartTrack will automatically detect your activities based on the continuous movement of your arms. However, if you stopped in the middle of your activity, that may interrupt the activity tracking. That being said, I'd recommend to lower the auto-exercise recognition setting to 10 minutes, restart your Sense, sync with the Fitbit app and try tracking your walk activity one more time.

About the speaker, the SpO2 readings and the button design, our team continuously works on our products and the comments of our members are always taken into consideration to enhance the Fitbit experience. Your feedback is appreciated and I'm sure it won't be taken for granted.

If you have another question, keep me posted.

Does that mean the phone app needs to be open in order for smart track to work? Can I walk or run without my phone and have smart track detect I’m exercising?
