Hello @JOHNLB8 and welcome to the Help forum.  I read your post several times.  I'm not sure what you are trying to do.  Aye you setting up your device?  Are you trying to set permissions in an app?  Please provide a little more detail.

Guess I should have been more clear, the GPS doesn't seem to work for me. I am unclear as to wheter it finds your home address and then moves out to where ever you are traveling. GPS on my phone works just fine.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @JOHNLB8. Thank you for sharing your GPS inquiry.

GPS works on your Sense to elevate your workouts. You can check help article: How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?

I hope this information helps.

A few things to check @JOHNLB8

Before pressing the final start of a walk/Run/Hike/Bije Ride, swipe up and make sure that GPS is enabled for this exercise recording.

Then after tapping Start, you should see an Icon showing that the watch is looking for satallites. Eventually a slight vibration tells you that a lock on 4 Satallites have been acquired. You should be good to take off.
