Hi @Tony72 - in addition to what @Clove6060 has suggested you may also want to logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.
This should clear any glitch in the app on the phone which hopefully is the only device with the Fitbit App installed.

Have you tried turning off and then back on the phone as well as restarting sense by holding the side button til the Fitbit logo appears and then releasing?
