Sense false step goal notification

My Sense has been congratulating me on reaching my step goal when I’m not even close.  Today it notified me that I’m 3362 steps over my 10,000 goal when I’m actually at 2662 steps.  I’m on the current version.  This is the third or fourth time in the last couple weeks it’s done this.  Using an iPhone 11.

Hello @Catuttle. It's great to see you around!

Thank you for the detailed information and for any steps you've followed prior to posting. If you haven't done so, I'd recommend performing a restart to your Sense by following the instructions in this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the inconvenience persists, please change your step goal to a different one, like calories, then switch back to steps and sync your Fitbit Sense. Lastly, test the behavior of your Fitbit device. For instructions about how to change the main goal, please check: How do I track my health and fitness goals with the Fitbit app?

Hope this helps.
