Hi, my Sense is asking for a firmware update and it is continually failing. I've reset my phone, Fitbit, Bluetooth on and off, tried updating via WiFi and Bluetooth. They all fail.
On the watch a screen starts the activation date of 27/12/2021 and asks me to download the fitbit app.
I've used the app successfully until this firmware request Friday- i hasn't used the watch since Thursday last week, but it was on charge. The current firmware certain is 44.7.5.8 and the app is on version 4.31.1 that needs Android 11, I'm using an S24 on Android 15.
Any ideas?

Hi, I've used all steps including restarting both watch and phone, disconnecting and repairing bluetooth, bluetooth off and on, removing and reinstalling the app and trying to update via WiFi and Bluetooth. On both methods it fails at various time including after, what looks to have been, a successful update.

Hi, is there any further guidance on my issue with the Fitbit Sense?

I also have this exact same problem - reset watch and phone, go through update, then after watch restarts it goes to initial install screen. Tried to install firmware on 3 distinct phones, two androids and one iPhone, same results everytime.
Apps systematically says "fitbit needs an update" and you're stuck there after the update, you get a "something went wrong" message.

I'm having the same issue, with the same results, it just keeps looping. Is there a solution to this at all?

Fitbit seem to be ignoring this. Anyone have an idea of our next steps are or could be, they've got to take responsibility for bricking our watches?
