Factory Reset failed, Red X with "Data not Cleared, Sync and try again"

I have tried all the different responses for this.

Solved: Sense stuck on message "Data not cleared, Sync & T... - Fitbit Community

Tried holding the power button multiple times until my thumb and finger hurt.  The Red X will not go away.  I have unpaired from Bluetooth and reset the phone.  Fitbit on my phone is now synced with my Versa 4.  I want to give the Sense 2 to my daughter, but I can't until it fully resets.  I am at a loss except to contact support to replace it.

Thank you for the response.  I did contact support.  I was eventually able to re-add the Sense to my account and get it updated and synced, then replaced it with my Versa 4.  Once I did that, I was able to then factory reset the Sense directly and cleanly.

In this case, contact support. They have additional tools that can better investigate your case.

Fill out the form. You will then be recommended some help articles.
