Fitbit is no longer receiving notifications from my phone, I think since changing to a Google account. I have gone through every process. Have checked all the settings, trying the "mirror phone", which it was set to, taking that off and selecting the apps I want notifications from. Rebooted watch, rebooted phone, turned bluetooth on and off. I've disconnected watch from phone and started again and gone through all of the above again. I am getting no notifications except occasional whatsapp notications from a group chat, then it bunches the messages and says two, three or however many messages and "open" meaning open the app in the phone to read them, making that notification useless. Is this the demise of my fitbit or is there something I'm missing please? I've been tearing my hair out with it the last couple of weeks with no signs of improvement. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. I've tried everything. All up to date and synced, bluetooth off, restart phone and Sense, notifications all allowed, no sleep mode or DND mode set. The only setting I don't see in the fitbit app notifications section is "The connection between your phone and Fitbit device dropped. If you have an Android phone, make sure Enable Notification Widget".
I also don't have the Information icon next to device name so set Share system notifications.
I'll keep restarting each device and see what occurs. It was working, I changed to a google email address then it wasn't working. Got caught in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Was working fine before.

I suspect a Bluetooth issue

Thanks for the input. I've turned bluetooth on and off, rebooted both fitbit and phone, have disconnected fitbit from account, reconnected, set up bluetooth and rebooted all again. Nothing is happening

Mine is doing the same thing. It has happened before but doing a back to factory settings worked, and I have turn it off and it started working but not today. Have only had my sense 2 for 5 months

So I've factory reset, waited for it complete all its updates, rebooted it, rebooted the phone, turned off bluetooth and notifications, turned them all on again, force quit app and nothing works, nada. No notifications apart from phone calls. Getting ticked off with it now. ☹️

Well, I played around with my phone a bit more at the weekend clicking things on and off and I think I found something I've never seen before and hit that, can't remember what it was so I couldn't go back to it if I tried 😃. Then randomly last night, I started getting messages through again. Happy days 😁 , for now, at least anyway. Thanks for input folks.
