Sense heart rate accuracy

My Fitbit Sense does not accurately track my heart rate during exercise. The error rate is 30% or more compared to my manual pulse rate counting.
I have read other posts in which Fitbit said they were working on the known problem, is there an update?

Thanks

I just got a new Sense.  They did a recall on my ionic.  The ionic was much more accurate.  Using a wrist monitor, the sense is off by 30-40 percent.  Heart rate seems too steady on the sense staying at 74-84 constantly and should be up to 140 when exercising .  Never gets into a zone, where normally I get several minutes of peak, cardio, and fat burn.  I think I would rather have my ionic back.  So far I'm unimpressed.

Yep,  my resting heart rate jumped 10bpm when I switched from the ionic.  When I look at my heart rate graph overnight it looks similar to how it did when I had the ionic.
