Sense ident (button) won't push and Sense won't charge

Hello: Previously I'd noticed that the indent (button) on the Sense wouldn't press in if it needed to be charged and then was fine once it was charged. However, now it won't charge. I've attempted to charge through several different USB ports and it won't charge at all. Nothing happens when I leave it charging.

Suggestions?

Thank you.

Some known cable issues to check that the pins are all ok on the charger and clean and the corresponding holes on the back of the watch are clean.

To verify where the issue is [contacts, watch, etc.] try this

To see what's happening with the charge

Connect the charge cable to the watch and plug it into a PC USB port

The PC should announce a connected device with a sound, it means its connected and charging

[if there is no sound, either the volume on the PC is low, or off, or the watch is not properly connected to the charger or has a fault]

if PC then announces a disconnected device with another sound, it means the watch battery is either flat or the watch is dead - this may occur repetitively until the watch comes on or is charging.

anyway wait 10 minutes [for battery to get to 5%]

if the watch or battery is not dead it will announce device connected again

[the watch may also wake up]

if after an hour there is nothing on the watch face

try starting it by pressing a button for a few seconds and waiting for the logo to appear or restarting with the buttons

if nothing comes on the screen, either there is a screen or button fault or the watch is dead  - but wait

Check the button start procedure, for Sense especially, to make sure you are actioning it properly

To check the button/indent once its on or to get it to come on

With the watch worn on the left arm -

rest your other thumb on the arm to the left of the watch

and forefinger on the back of the hand

and do a gentle squeeze of the watch
