I just got the Sense and I've been sitting on my couch playing with it and it's already logged over 400 steps. Obviously a super sensitive watch. How do I fix this?

Hello, welcome to the Community forums, @Candice416.
Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your Sense watch.
Before considering other options, please make sure that you've tried the restart procedure as described in this article, then check if you continue to experience the same behavior. In the meantime, you can find more useful information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices here. Keep in mind that your watch tries to give you credit for all your movements throughout the day.
The algorithm is designed to look for intensity and motion patterns that are most indicative of people walking and running. When working at a desk, cooking, or performing other activities with arm movements, a device on your wrist may add some steps. When you’re doing activities that involve arm movement, such as working or cooking, you often walk a few steps in-between stationary periods as well, so the device tries to give you credit for those steps.
I'll be around.

Make sure you get an electric toothbrush if not already. 😂
Or, you can put the watch on your non-dominant wrist.

Hi! My Fitbit Sense counted 3142 steps while I slept, which is obviously a mistake. Is there a way to fix this?

You can try changing that arm setting.
But please remember that the tracker is not on the leg, but your arm. In reality it can only look at arm movements.
If the movement of the wrist looks as if the feet are stepping, steps will be counted.

@Jbmerlot Thank you for sharing that you've experienced this inconvenience with your Sense watch.
You certainly shouldn't get any steps during your sleep when you've not moving. In the meantime you can log a driving activity for those hours to override the steps that were tracked during that time.
If you already tried the restart mentioned earlier and you continue to experience the same inconvenience, I recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. The best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.
Have a great day.
