I've been using a Fitbit device since 2014. This is the first time I've
been disappointed, but they've blown it big time.

If it helps, the floors dont affect the calories calculated on your fitbit. Its just there for motivation. I kind of just ignore it now since I learnt that fact.

Seems the factory reset helped the floor count for my Sense.  I had a total of 39 floors yesterday and so far, 41 today.  These numbers are more reasonable compared to the 100+ over the previous days.

I wouldn't do any updates.

My situation is very similar. I settled for the Apple Watch too, but I miss the Fitbit dashboard.  Has anyone bought a newer Sense, are they any better?  Or, should I down grade to a Fitbit Charge.  I must say, after being a loyal customer for 10 years and a premium app member, I did expect better customer service.

Yes, but I was out of warranty, s they offered me a $30 coupon which I realized could not be combined with other offers.  SMH.

This is brilliant! I did as you did, and my floor count is correct for the first time in months. Of course, time will tell. But I’m super happy today. Thanks for sharing!!

Did you have to do a complete erase and is it still holding accurate?

I've tried so many things. Nothing has worked. I've given up.

So, Friday night I followed the link provided by Nyee Nyee and did a complete erase, deleted from my phone and started over fresh as if a brand-new Sense.  Was home all day and counted 8 flights of stairs, Fitbit gave me 97.

What really burns me is that you know these forums are monitored by Fitbit employees, yet no one has stepped up to let us know what the issue is or if we will ever see a fix.  Disappointed

That’s a bummer! The reset worked for me. I’ve been very surprised. I’ve had nearly perfect counts since I did the reset.

@NyeeNyee  - can you please confirm your firmware level after the reset.

Yup, same

@dwyn127  - strange, there was some indication of an improvement with the latest firmware version you have. Perhaps there are other factors involved

@dwyn127 , @NyeeNyee - can you post your watch activation date, from the watch Settings, About Sense, System info menu, to compare.
